About Us

Welcome to Do It With Mirrors — where every mirror has a story to tell…

Being raised in rural Dorset, I grew up surrounded by antiques and interiors, with grandparents who were antique dealers. From an early age, I developed a love for old, quirky and unusual pieces, and interior design has always been a passion of mine.

My love affair with vintage mirrors began in 2021, when I bought my first vintage mirror for our home. That one purchase sparked a passion for collecting unique and characterful pieces, and before long, I found myself searching for mirrors with that little bit of something special.

And so, Do It With Mirrors was born!

We specialise in vintage, retro and quirky mirrors, carefully sourced for their character, charm and individuality. Each piece is different, with its own history and story to tell — and we love giving these beautiful, often overlooked pieces a chance to shine again.

All of our pieces are vintage, retro, unique and pre-loved, each with its own history, character and story to tell. As with any genuine vintage item, there may be some signs of age, wear and tear. We embrace these little imperfections as part of what makes each piece special, nostalgic and completely unique.

Our items receive minimal restoration where needed, carefully carried out to preserve their original character, charm and history rather than making them look brand new. We want each piece to retain the feeling of its past while continuing its story in its new home.

While we are passionate collectors and lovers of vintage and antique mirrors, we are not specialist antique dealers or experts in their authentication. We have taken great care to research each piece, using the information and resources available to us, and have done our very best to provide descriptions, dates, materials and other details as accurately as possible. As with all vintage and antique pieces, some information can be difficult to verify, so we always encourage customers to make their own enquiries and satisfy themselves that a piece is right for them before purchasing.

We take great care when preparing your order, and all items are shipped within 1–2 working days.

Unfortunately we no longer ship to Northern Ireland due to the new GPSR certification requirements.

Everything we choose for our shop is selected for its ability to evoke nostalgia and bring a little character and charm into your home. All our items are presented in lovely vintage condition, with any notable imperfections described honestly in the individual listing.
